This was a last minute charter and I was glad to be able to find any boat in peak season. Unfortunately the boat is old and maintenance has been uneven. On the positive side the boat was seaworthy and the sails, rigging, etc. were in good shape. It was also clean. Among major issues: the running lights (starboard/green) were temperamental (bad wiring?), the VHF often malfunctioned, and the windlass was "skipping." Minor (convenience/enjoyment) issues included a poorly equipped galley (the baking tray had holes!) and an empty spare propane tank.
